Aqua Engineering assisted the city of Elk Ridge, Utah in establishing suitable sites for groundwater wells within its service area. Phase I including re-drilling Cloward Well to a depth of 875 feet and enlarging the borehole to accept a 16” casing (formerly a 10” casing) with engineered screen and filter pack. The capacity of the completed well increased from 800 GPM to 1800 GPM. Phase 2 involved the completion of a new well house with supply piping and SCADA improvements. Aqua Engineering worked with city officials to make sure the pump house was designed to blend with the residential area surrounding the site.
