- Scott has over 30 years experience as a civil engineer, primarily in the water and wastewater treatment fields. He has been involved in the analysis, design, upgrade or operations of over 160 treatment facilities and is distinguished for improving and upgrading systems for minimal cost.
- He is an expert in operations consulting, water reuse, instrumentation design, pumping systems, headworks, reclamation facility disinfection and sludge disposal.
- Scott was the project engineer for the first membrane bioreactor facility in Utah, an MBR project that won the Engineering Excellence Grand Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies [ACEC], Utah Chapter.
Scott is president of SKM, an electrical engineering division of the AQUA Group specializing in SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and Telemetry systems, particularly for the water and wastewater industries. They are experts in PLC programming, HMI programming and design. He is also president of Aqua Environmental, a company providing operations, start-up, and calibration services for both public and private sector clients.
