Deer Valley East Village Water Treatment Facility

The Mayflower Tunnel Water Treatment Facility houses the systems that treat mine tunnel discharge water at the Deer Valley East Village development. AQUA provides structural engineering for the facility building and manages construction of the building and structural scope, coordinating with the treatment process designer and the project team.

AQUA’s structural design accommodates the treatment equipment and piping loads and the demands of the mountain site, including cathodic and corrosion protection suited to the site’s corrosive soils. The building was designed around the process layout provided by others so the structure supports the selected treatment system.

Through construction, AQUA provides submittal review, construction observation, and field engineering for the building and structural scope, holding the work to the design intent.
