Darin Hawkes, P.E.  |  Principal

Mr. Hawkes’ brings 23 years of experience across a wide range of civil engineering disciplines, with particular expertise in complex projects characterized by constrained space, limited access, and aggressive schedules. He is recognized for his ability to evaluate challenges from multiple perspectives and develop practical, client-focused solutions. His technical experience includes pumping system design; concrete storage tanks; open reservoirs; large-scale water storage facilities; and high-elevation snowmaking reservoirs and dams. Many of his projects are delivered as turnkey solutions, with direct involvement from conceptual design through construction administration and project closeout. As a Principal of AQUA, Mr. Hawkes has led and supported numerous System Capacity Analyses, Municipal Capital Facility Plans, and large-scale Master Plans for both culinary water and wastewater systems. In addition, as a licensed Professional Structural Engineer, he has designed a wide variety of structural systems, including water storage tanks, retaining structures, embankments, and building and foundation systems.
