Deer Valley East Village Lincoln Area Water Facilities
The Lincoln area is one of the larger service areas of the Deer Valley East Village system, serving residential, hotel, and commercial development near the ski resort base at roughly 375 equivalent residential connections. AQUA designed the full set of facilities required to bring potable service to the area: a 550,000-gallon storage tank and valve vault, Booster Pump Station No. 2, Flow Control Valve Station No. 2, and five pressure reducing valve stations, each sized within the system hydraulic model and integrated with existing storage, pumping, and controls.
To control cost and schedule across multiple similar structures, AQUA standardized the PRV station design so nearly identical stations could be replicated across the area with site-specific adjustments only. Electrical, controls, and SCADA were designed to tie tank level, flow metering, pump control, and pressure data into the existing Jordanelle Special Service District system, with the pump station, flow control valve station, and tank coordinated to operate together.
AQUA carried the facilities through permitting with the Utah Division of Drinking Water, JSSD, and MIDA, and provided construction observation, leak-test witnessing, and closeout. The Lincoln facilities extended the system into a new pressure zone without rework of earlier infrastructure.
