Deer Valley East Village Marina West Master Plan
Deer Valley Marina West is a high-density, mixed-use resort district planned across U.S. Highway 40 from the Deer Valley East Village development, with water-intensive uses including an indoor water park and a large fitness center alongside roughly 800,000 square feet of residential and 100,000 square feet of retail. AQUA is preparing the Water and Wastewater Master Plan that defines how the district will be served by the existing Deer Valley East Village and Jordanelle Special Service District systems at ultimate build-out.
Because AQUA developed the original Deer Valley East Village water system master plan and hydraulic model, it is positioned to extend that work directly. Much of the Deer Valley East Village system has since been constructed, modified, and dedicated to JSSD, so AQUA is reconciling the model to as-built conditions, storage volumes and elevations, pump configurations and controls, pressure zones, and PRV settings, before using it to evaluate Marina West demands. The result is an authoritative, living system model that can be updated as the program evolves and serves as the backbone for future system planning.
From owner-provided build-out scenarios, AQUA is developing water and wastewater demands, assessing system capacity, and identifying the infrastructure needed to serve the district, giving the developer a defensible basis for capital planning, agency review, and future design by others.
