Since 2007 AQUA has served as the Contract City Engineer for Grantsville City, providing comprehensive engineering, development review, infrastructure planning, and construction administration services in support of the City's continued growth and capital improvement objectives. In this role, AQUA works closely with City staff, elected officials, developers, and public works personnel to ensure that public infrastructure is designed, constructed, and maintained in accordance with City standards and long-term planning goals.

Over the course of the engagement, AQUA has designed numerous infrastructure improvements and utility system expansions throughout the City. These efforts have included water distribution system upgrades, roadway and drainage improvements, groundwater development projects, municipal facility enhancements, pressure management facilities, and water treatment improvements. Through these projects, AQUA has helped the City meet increasing demands associated with residential, commercial, and industrial growth while maintaining reliable public services.

AQUA has designed and managed the construction of thousands of linear feet of water transmission and distribution mains ranging in size from 8-inch to 16-inch diameter. These projects have improved water system reliability, increased fire protection capacity, enhanced hydraulic performance, and expanded service to developing areas of the community. Additional water system improvements have included the design of multiple pressure reducing valve (PRV) stations, booster pump stations, groundwater source development projects, and disinfection facilities to support water quality and regulatory compliance.

Beyond capital improvement projects, AQUA has played a key role in strengthening the City's development review process by preparing and implementing standardized engineering details, specifications, and infrastructure requirements for use throughout the City. These standards help ensure consistency in design, construction quality, and long-term maintainability of both public and privately funded infrastructure improvements.

As Contract City Engineer, AQUA also provides plan review, permitting support, construction inspection, and project approval services for developments ranging from individual residential lots to large multi-phase subdivisions, commercial business parks, and industrial facilities. Through close coordination with City departments, developers, and contractors, AQUA helps ensure that new infrastructure is integrated effectively into existing systems while protecting the City's interests and infrastructure investments.
