Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion
|
The Town of Lochbuie engaged AQUA to provide comprehensive planning, design, procurement, and construction support for municipal utility infrastructure, delivering an integrated program from early evaluation through construction.
Services include overall project and client management, regular Town Board engagement, and coordination with state, regional, and local agencies to support permitting, planning, design review, and regulatory approvals. Project features included utility rate studies, comprehensive system performance evaluations, and development of a Utility Plan to guide long‑term infrastructure investment. Technical design services encompassed power and utility systems, hydraulic analysis, biological treatment process design, and equipment preselection and procurement. Wastewater process features included mechanical design for screening, grit removal, flow equalization, pumping systems, membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment, ultraviolet (UV) disinfection, and solids management. Facility design incorporated HVAC systems, pre‑engineered metal building (PEMB) and CMU structures, along with supporting stormwater and non‑potable water systems. AQUA will also assist the Town with construction delivery through construction‑manager‑at‑risk (CMAR) solicitation, selection, and contracting, followed by construction management services and on‑site observations to support successful implementation upon design completion. |
