Lost Creek Dairy
Resource Recovery | Renewable Energy

Picture
Approximately 442 dekatherms/day of renewable natural gas is produced and recovered from the enhanced micro hydrolysis and thermophilic anaerobic digester complex. The project is sized to process approximately 100,000 gallons/day of dairy manure (from 8,300 cows), which will destroy over 63,000 lbs/day of volatile solids in the enhanced digestion process. Digested dairy manure is recovered and dewatered to 20% solids content to be used as a soil amendment.
