Municipal Services | 300 South Boulevard Enhancement
|
The 300 South Boulevard Project was constructed in two phases. Phase 1 included the construction of all underground utilities such as culinary water, pressurized irrigation and sanitary sewer. Phase 2 included construction of approximately 5,000 feet surface improvements. 300 South Boulevard included raised, landscape medians and two travel lanes in each direction. The roadway required the demolition of a section of Mountain Crest High Schools parking lot along with the challenges of providing new access back into the school in several places. Another challenge of the project was the access onto SR165. AQUA obtained an access agreement and permit with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) requiring a traffic impact study and construction of a 1,500 foot right deceleration lane off SR165 northbound lanes onto 300 South.
