Goshute Valley
Water | Bedrock Well
|
AQUA collaborated with a private company and two cities to determine the hydrologic and geologic conditions in Goshute Valley, Nevada. Several test wells and 14-inch culinary quality bedrock well to 1500 feet were drilled and completed. An existing 16-inch alluvial well and the new bedrock well were test pumped to determine well capacities and adjacent hydrologic parameters. AQUA designed and permitted the bedrock well and assisted with the completion of temporary discharge permits and environmental permits required for the work. AQUA assisted with collecting and compiling data in a report detailing the aquifer testing efforts and results that will be used to develop a groundwater model of the local aquifer.
